Onion (Allium Cepa) is a bulbous perennial plant, it is native to the Northern hemisphere. However, it has been cultivated and used as traditional remedies in the Middle East for millennia. Nowadays, it is grown worldwide mostly used in culinary field. In Thailand, Allium Cepa is used as a traditional medicine for flatulence, diuretics, cure dandruff, and hair loss prevention. In recent research reports has also revealed that the extract of the onion could be used to treat scars by reducing the
\nproduction of the collagen fibrils within the scars, it also has an anti-inflammatory activity, so it would be able to used as a scar reducer. In addition, the Allium Cepa is also abundant in Vitamin E, high anti-oxidant activity; improving the absorption of Vitamin A; and preventing hair loss as well.
